Initially this was intended to become a rather mundane fantasy piece with orcs moving through a fairly ordinary landscape... but as it turned out some fires and a flying beast found its way into it....
I worked on this piece for an hour or so now and then and I have no good estimation of how long it took... but I know I used PS CS2 with some plain and some textured brushes.. I also used some suble photographic textures on top of it all.. and a little noise.
